Hi readers!
This week we have been learning about Tangata Whenua. What we did was answer the questions that were on the doc. The questions were all about the Maori people that travelled in waka to New Zealand. They were the first people here because New Zealand was built a long time ago but no one came so the Maori people tried coming here by travelling in waka and they did and they even went to other countries too like even South Africa.
The Maori people arrived from Tonga and Asia and when they were coming to
New Zealand they also brought dogs, rats and crops.
