Hello, Readers!
Today I will be telling you guys about an old bridge named, Pontoon Bridge, this bridge was built by Persian Engineers to transport the Xerxes invading army across the Hellespont, this bridge was constructed in 480 BCE, the Pontoon Bridge was also called a floating bridge it was used to float or shallow-draft boats to support a continuous deck for pedestrian and vehicle travel. they were formed by simply lashing several barrels together, by rafts or timbers, or by using boats.
Hi Hamid
ReplyDeleteThe pontoon bridge is a style of bridge construction, not one singular bridge. I also note that most of your work is not done in your own words. Can you please fix this up?
