Market Day Sales

 Hello, Readers!

Today I will be telling you what we did yesterday at school on Market day. So yesterday we were doing a Market Say Sale and we had to make a poster about what the name of our company was and what our game was about. So our game was about a Bean Bag Challenge so like the first one to get the most beans bag in the hole wins a price if they get the same score then they would have had to go again.

So like that our prices were Fruit Bersts and Cocacola Sour Patch. Some people would come and check the posters and take pictures and some of then would play our game and some of them would just walk away it was not cool to walk away but we wern't forcing them to play our game.

It was very hot yesterday and it was Wednesday and also we sold all of our Fruit Bersts but the Sour Pitch the Sour Pitch was not a good idea but next time maybe we could try to cook some food and give away or we could by better prices and make a different game but until next time we will see what we can make better with our money.

We did make some profit but it was not what were expecting we got $15 of profit we could not believe it we thought were not going to get any profit but we did in our group we had Ryan, Nature Sidney and Hamid so were had to manage our own stuff like Nature was the CEO Ryan was the Marketing Manager and Sidney was the Prodution Manager and Hamid was the Finanical Manager. Thank you for reading my blog and I will see you next time Bye.

Daylight Saving

Hello Readers!

Today I will be telling you about some daylight saving that we did today and here is some question that I have done here it is.

  1. When does Daylight Saving happen each year in New Zealand?

Daylight saving starts each year at 2 am on the last Sunday in September, and ends at 3 am on the first Sunday in April 2021.

  1. What year did Daylight Saving start in New Zealand?

New Zealand first introduced daylight saving time in 1927.

  1. Why was Daylight Saving started?

Because farmers were working at night so they decided to add in an extra hour to the clock so they don’t have to work overnight and they would have saved energy too for the day.

  1. Read the following article and write a paragraph (3-8 sentences) on whether or not you think that Daylight Saving should continue in New Zealand.

I think that daylight saving should still keep on going because it would be pointless if we take it away because people are used to it and know and it would be useless is if we take it away.

  1. Do all the states in Australia have Daylight Saving? Who does and who doesn’t?

Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and South Australia all have daylight saving, while Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia do not

  1. Write 3 tips to help others adjust to Daylight Saving this weekend.

  • Daylight saving time throws off your body clock.

  • Avoid electronics before going to bed.

  • Don't overdo it with the caffeine.
