Kia Ora Emma how are you? How is your day going? My name is Hamid and I am from Hornby High School. At school I like to learn maths and my favourite subject at school is P.E. Out of school my favourite subject is to help my mum and learn how to cook different types of foods. I am sorry I can't do the Summer Learning Journey is because I am going to see my grandma and going to spend my time with my family in England and stay there for a bit. If I was not going I would of done the Summer Learning Journey and try my best to hopefully win the blue speaker.
Emma how long have you been doing this Summer Learning Journey for? What made you do this?
I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Hamid!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey and I work with Emma on the Summer Learning Journey programme.
Thank you for introducing yourself to us. One of my favourite things about the programme is getting to know little bits about students from all over the country. P.E. was my favourite subject when I was at school too. We used to play a game called Snow Ball which I absolutely loved! What's your favourite P.E. game?
I'm sorry to hear that you won't be taking part in the programme but spending your holiday in England sounds awesome! Do you go on trips there often? If you do have any spare time while you're away feel free to jump online and have a go at some of the activities.
Have a great weekend Hamid.
Bye for now,
Mikey :)
