My story

Hi guys today I will be telling you guys about a story that Tz has been writing this whole period 3.

when I sweep my eyes over down the picture I saw a big Mountains with a beautiful blue sky.

Trees on the Mountains with a bright grass and Rocks all over the Mountain.

Different big boats on the bright blue ocean and make my just dive in and swim.

Big green trees on the Mountain above the ocean and the boats.

When I woke up in the boat I just ran and just dived in the beautiful blue ocean and just wished her face and swim around. After she got back in the boat and changed me clothes and had breakfast. It was very fun in the summer because the only thing you can hear is the waves of water and there is nothing else you could hear no noise and no planes nothing.

The problem of the story is that she is by here self all alone and the other problem is that some time the days are very hot and likely she can get sun burn and it will hurt and she can get really hot at some nights.

one day she climed up the mountain and she was really tired and the it was very hot as well and she was very thearsty so she drinked some water and enjoyed a lot after she drinked she climed and locked over the sea.

Kia Ora Emma how are you? How is your day going? My name is Hamid and I am from Hornby High School. At school I like to learn maths and my favourite subject at school is P.E. Out of school my favourite subject is to help my mum and learn how to cook different types of foods. I am sorry I can't do the Summer Learning Journey is because I am going to see my grandma and going to spend my time with my family in England and stay there for a bit. Babe The Sheep-pig story

Hi readers today I will be talking about a novel book that 7/8 Tz has been reading
there are 4 groups and each group is reading a novel and I have just been reading
these weeks and it's a very good book for me because I can read the words nice and
clear.

The title of this book is, Babe the Sheep pig.

The author of this book is Dick King-Smith.

These are the main characters of the book, Mrs Hogget the farmer, Babe the pig,
fly the black white sheepdog with four young dogs.

Babe the sheep pig is the brilliant film based on the best selling novel and in the book
you will see and meet different characters and other people and the pig was not bought
to get kept he was bought for a good Christmas night dinner. Make sure you take a read
of this great book because after all the things that the pig did was impressive and Mrs
Hogget did not have the pig as his Christmas night dinner but why I don't know so go
and read the book and find out why he did not have the pig for his Christmas night.
What I think will happen next is that the pig might get kept for every or maybe he will
get eaten maybe after a bit later or maybe get to be kept or be Mrs Hogget's new dog
or maybe not im not sure yet.

Sports

Hi readers!

So today I will be talking about what we are doing today. So today at period 3 and 4
we have been doing Hurumanu and in Hurumanu we have been doing sport and not
only one sports more than one sports and today we were doing basketball and people
from Bh and Tz and it was, Miguel, Shanarnia, Tai, Paige, Ella, Hailey, that were
teaching us how to play and it went well for others but not me because we kept on
losing because my teammates were telling me to pass the ball to them when they were
getting defended and that why we were losing and that did not go well for my and
some other sports did not go well for me as well but basketball is still my favourite
sport.

How successfully your lesson was/why not?  not me because we kept on losing because

What was your role? How did you contribute to your team? We did the warm up
together and I did the talking to the other students.

What was something you would do different next time? Next time I would pick other
people in my groups by having half girl and half boy.

did our sport because I was absent that day.

Doing Kapa Haka

Hi readers!

Today I will be talking about what I have been doing last week
and this week on Wednesday period 2. I have been going to
Kapa Haka and with some other people and with some people
from our class and its really fun because in Kapa Haka it can
actually change you like it can make you confidence and make
you brave and we get to learn new Haka and new songs and
that is the thing that make you want to go and if I rate Kapa
Haka I would rate it out of 9 because I did not rate it a 10
because I don’t know the other songs that they are going to
teach us and the other Haka as well but I still like Kapa Haka
even its for me but still if your in HHS year ⅞ you can come
and join it free it costes nothing so come and join us now.

What I did in my Holiday

Hi guys today I will be talking about what I did in my Holiday, What I did in my Holiday was going swimming like every Saturday and on the first week of the Holiday two birthdays went past and it was my birthday and my little brothers birthday I turned 12 years old and my little brother turned 8 years old and he goes to Wigram Primary School and the second week of the Holiday and me and my family went to my cousins house and had a sleep over and the second week of the Holiday on Sunday we went to the snowing Mountain but it was closed because their was not any snow so and then we went to a 1 hour drive park and spent the day there and when we came home it got very cold and then we were all tired to so we toke a nap on our beds for 4 hours and then we woke up and then I stated to go and help my mum with dinner helped her to cook and what we had for dinner was rice with carrot and raisins it was really yum and then we had a rest for 10 minutes and then we watched TV together for 20 minutes and then the time was 9 o'clock and then we went to sleep for tomorrow because we had school and my dad had work to go so the rest of the Holiday I was at home but the first week of the  Holiday at Sunday only my parents went shopping to bring thing for the Holiday and Thank you for reading bye.

Orana WildLife Prak

Hi bloggers today I will be talking about where I went this Monday the 23rd of September. On Monday we actually went to Orana Wildlife Park and it was really fun going there and seeing all the wild
 animals and the best part of going to Orana wildlife park was going and feeding the Grafts in the end
 when we were finished and the cool thing about it was that we saw there purple tug and it was very
 long and we saw 5 lions and the best part of it was is that was when we were looking at them they
 started to roar and it was like they were talking to each other and we saw some grills and and best part
 about them was seeing there but and it was very funny but we did not laugh because then they would
 feel sad because they have feeling to not only us and they would hid and be shy so the first one that we
 saw I forgot to tell you was the meerkats they were so cute and so funny and we all laughed and I
 wished we could get one but we couldn't so we kept looking and we went and looked it the lizards
 gecko and frogs and the biggest one was the lizard and it was very cool after that we took a break and
 had lunch and then after that we took a class photo near a fake build kiwi  and it was big and after that
 we went and looked at the keas and they were very smart and that is what Elizabeth tolled us and
 Elizabeth is a stuff manger and the other teacher Bethany is a teacher and I was in group one with
 Elizabeth and that was the end that we started to pick up and go back to school for period 5.

Hi bloggers today I will be talking about what I just learn at period 1. what I learned was that they were talking about two story's and they were called the night vision and and other one was rain falls. And it was interesting how they said how they made the story's and how much words in it was inside one book their is at lest more then five thousand words and it takes in hour for one thousand words in a book and they use a lot of paper and to write it first so it makes sens and they mostly think how they want there story like and here in some picture of the story's. this is the night vision one and it look amazing. I am very sorry guys that I could not find the rain falls picture and I did at lest find the night vision but I am still very sorry guys about the rain falls.

Go All Black

Hey bloggers today I will be talking about the All Blacks hoping for them to win the world cup and today I have made a DLO about the all black and we know they have lost two weeks in a row but that does not mean that they will lose the world cup maybe in the tow weeks in a row they lost because maybe they were not ready to play or they weren't feeling good but hey I made a dlo that you could take a look and see if it looks good or alright and maybe you could tell me if they it okay.

Hey readers today we are talking about Digital Tech and it going to be fun and amazing. for these few last week we have been doing is talking about, Social, Environmental and Ethical.

I have in issue which is Environmental and the issue is littering why I chose littering because I wanted to know why is littering bad and now I know that rubbish stay around for a long time and and they really bad for animals and if we don't stop littering our world is going to be dirty and stinky. but if we keep our world nice and clean it would be nice and tidy and it would not smell very and and it will not be dirty or stinky and would smell nice and great and the flowers would give the world a nice great smell. and that was what I chose for my issue. maybe you guys can comment back something that I did bad or maybe good and maybe next time you guys could tell me what an issue you would address and that you like to. Our new Hurumanu P.E 2

Manaakitanga

Hi guys today we are doing some writing and it is going to be really
fun so let's get into some writing 

It was it night time in the Earth people were it sleep but we weren’t 

because we were it the Galaxy. We were going to take a trip to Earth and in the middle
of the trip we saw the shiny sun rising. After the trip we got out and it was so bright
because it was our first time coming to Earth.  On the Rocket to earth was Sponge Bob,
Thanos and Goku, Stan Lee. The grass is so green it was so special because we have
never seen something that green. It’s so bright but there was a problem because Thanos
was so huge that we even had trouble getting him even in the ship but finally we got
out. Then we started to go on a walk on the footpath and we saw it was the most 
amazing thing that we have never seen. We didn’t notice that Thanos made a trap
for us

 He betrayed us because he doesn't even care that we bought him to Earth.  What is
he going to do destroy the World or something else he is going to have fun without us
that what he is going to do. We fell into a creepy cage and it was so scary because we
heard spooky noises and a giant hand tried to grab us or he could of hit us. Then we
knew what it was a monster so sponge bob screamed and then the monster chased us
and when we were running goku sprinted and then he banged on to a wall so there
was no other ways for sponge bob or goku to run and there was a big rock that they
could hide from the monster it ran into the wall and hurt himself. And made a big
hool into the cage that we escape and get out.

Hi, This blog post is about the climate change first we need to answer the question at the board and we need to find the definition of that word and add 2 images on it. 

Acidification

1.Ocean acidification is the ongoing in the pH of the Earth's oceans, caused  the up take of carbon dioxide.

Deforestation

2.  Deforestation is the forests in order to make the land available for other uses. An 18 million acres  of forest, which is roughly the size of the country of Panama, are lost each year, according to the United Nations' Food.

 Water Vapour 

3.  Water vapour or aqueous vapor is the gaseous phase of water. It is one state of water the water vapor can be produced from the evaporation or boiling of liquid water or from the \ ice. Unlike other forms ofwater, water vapor is invisible.

 Ice Melts

4. When the ice melts, the dark ocean surface that takes its placmost of the incoming solar energy, causing the seas to get warmer and more ice to melt. Anice and snow melt material (100) which is a solid ice and snow meltmaterial (101) coated with a liquid ice and snow melt material (102)

what effects does this having on climate change

Examples of climate change include  in global surface warming), changes in rainfall patterns, and changes in to weather events.

Water Cycle

AIM: TO LOOK AT THE WATER CYCLE AND HOW CLIMATE CHANGE IS AFFECTING IT.

Definition:

Scientific words:

• Evaporation. When water is heated by radiant energy it turns into water vapor.
• Transpiration. Evaporation from plants.
• Condensation. When water vapor cools, molecules join together and form clouds.
• Precipitation. When clouds get heavy the waters falls as rain, sleet, hail, or snow.
• Acidification: the action or process of making or becoming acidic.

We will be conducting an experiment that looks at the different ways that climate change is affecting the water cycle.

THE WATER CYCLE EXPERIMENT

Bag 1: Normal Water cycle

Bag 2: Water cycle with CO2 added: like Oceans in climate change

Bag 3: Water cycle with ice added: like Antarctica in climate change

Material:

1. Water / Soda Water
2. Bag
3. Food colour
4. Litmus paper
5. Sand

Steps:

1.  Get the vivid from the teacher.
2.  Draw the water cycle on the bag.
3.  Get the water or the soda water.
4.  Two drops of food colour in the bag.
5. Hang the bag on the window with the tap
6. In bag two we added litmus paper in it.

In the bag 1 we did the water cycle, it has a small amount of water cycle, then put the water in the bag 1 and shake in to make blue.

what we did for Hurumanu last term and starting this term

Hi guys my name is Hamid how are you guys today.

and with the clay we have made some stop motion
